September Pet(s) of the Month – Henry and the Inspector
Henry and the Inspector are a tale of two kitties. Lost on the streets of New York City, they lived perhaps nine lives as they each sought shelter in separate cat colonies, then together in a foster home through the remarkable work of the Washington Heights Cat Colony. They bonded immediately and WaHi Cats knew they must be adopted together. One call to me – I had lost my beloved Jack (17) and Ivy (18) six months earlier – and the boys had a new home.
Four years later, they spend their days surrounded by love, large sunny windows and soft, comfy places for sleeping. There’s also a long hallway down which they gallop, banking off walls, and if they see me watching, catapulting into spectacular flips.
