Did you know they can damage their teeth?  The brillo-like surface acts like a perfect file for tooth enamel.  I can always spot a tennis ball fanatic by the smooth, even, worn-down teeth.  Over time this can lead to exposure of deeper vulnerable tissue, and serious painful conditions.
