Mika is a Hurricane Sandy survivor-  she lived on the street in Staten Island for 6 weeks after her previous family sadly lost their home in the storm.  Upon finding her, a relief worker wrapped her in a blanket and put her in a shopping cart.  It wasn’t long before Mika found her way to her new home- to which she brings much joy.

A beautiful spirit, Mika enjoys playing with her cat dancer toy, sprinting across the apartment, and fetching a toy mouse.  She loves the cat dancer toy so much that it mysteriously finds itself by the bed every morning in front of a bright eyed and eager kitten.  When not getting her ya-yas out, Mika can be found exploring, catnapping on a sunny window sill, or curled up next to her new family.

Easy on the eyes and a gentle soul, Mika leaves an impression on everyone she meets.
